This space was created in a 10'x10'10' cube of a room with the intent of providing a playful space for a toddler that would allow multiple playing, napping, reading and exploring spaces. The client's demand was to keep much of the room open and clutter-free to cater to the toddler's needs as he grows while ensuring sufficient storage space for books and toys. The creating of a mezzanine in the room allowed for a doubling up of volume with cozy spaces that suit the child's scale.
